Collaborative Leadership

Started Collaborative Leadership this weekend. Everyone told me that I'd like the instructor and I should take a class with her. She's out there, she likes the same kind of stuff that you do. So, as it turns out, she spoke of weird stuff in the class which I knew all about. I think the discussion about the magic of water and rupert sheldrake's work may have taken others by surprise but I already knew of them and found it really interesting.
The sheldrake work got me thinking about the energy I bring to work. Am I bringing positive energy or not? Sometimes I say a prayer before I enter the building but I don't always and I don't hold that space all day. Holding this would be helpful, particularly as my staff is growing. I need to be a good leader for them.
I'm thinking about my paper. I think I may do something on pathways. We'll see, as the weeks progress if this is doable but I think it is a student focused project that I could undertake that would bring value to the students, the college, and would be fulfilling for me. Our national conference occurs between now and the end of this semester so I will pick brains while I'm there. I may even get a few minutes of Darlene's time.
