Day six or everyman project

We were given an assignment to do something nice (a good deed) for the PELI group. We've sort of gone round and round about what is a good deed and how do we do one without insulting the group. We had lunch with the PELI group yesterday. It was very nice and we learned a lot about the culture based on the good they do for each other. I don't think we've come to a decision yet about the good deed but we did talk about creating a value lens for the country as they are often misunderstood and it seems as though it could help quite a bit. We'd have it published. The professor brought it up, people were not overwhelmingly in favor of it. I think we were surprised but I noticed the idea came up after class so I think we're going to do it.
I was surprised that everyone stayed after class yesterday for a drink. Usually the people who live nearby rush home. I actually wanted to rush home, I missed Stuart but thought I should take a few minutes to process the day and not bring all of it home.
The class yesterday went much better than the day before. There wasn't any real conflict, people weren't pissed. There was less swearing. It felt better. Maybe the first day was a just an off day.
I'm feeling exhausted by this whole marathon of school. I'm at home day and about to start my next paper assignment. I surprised myself by not doing the paper before class. I thought we'd get direction, or something, in addition to the assignment. We really haven't so I'm working through it this weekend. I'm so glad to be home. I'm working in bed and both puppies are keeping me company. Life is good!
